Hair dye tips for men?

i want to frost my hair, but am not sure what color suits me


i am a dark brown with black hair with a flip hairstyle

First, go to a beauty supply store, don't buy stuff from the drug store


get a frosting cap, a package of powder bleach and some 40+ hydrogen peroxide


With hair that dark, you are going to need a strong developer.


You may need to make a developing ';cap'; to go over the frosting cap out of aluminum foil. That is the only way I know to lift hair that dark all the way to blonde. Additionally, your hair may not lift to completely blonde and may have a reddish tone to it.


I would start with just every other hole in the frosting cap, and just do the hair on crown/top of your head.

if you are dark brown, frosting your hair would not look very natural. when dying your hair you dont want it to look completely ';yess i dyed my hair, a color completely oposite of mine';, but more of a ';o he is briging out the color of his hair';

I mean...i personally do not like frosted hair on guys. But anyway I'm confused when you say ';i am a dark brown with black'; does that mean your skin is brown and your hair is black, or your hair is both black and brown??
