What is the best way to style curly hair for men to prevent hair loss?

I have quite thick curly black hair and over the past year I've noticed it getting a little thinner around the front and back. This is mostly apparent when I wear my hair down (like Tom Welling), however when I've kept it up (which looks something like an afro) i've noticed less hair loss.



I don't know if there's a link between wearing your hair up and preventing more hair loss this way or not, but I would love to find out what the best hair-maintenance styles for men with curly hair are in light of the aboveWhat is the best way to style curly hair for men to prevent hair loss?

Yes, go for the middle. You get to name the child in the hospital. Personnel will come around during the day and ask what name you want on birth certificate. Just give the one you choose. You do have that right!

Ok firstly, I like Emma and Adalynn for girls, and Seth and Dallas for boys. I know you said Dallas as one of your girls names, but I like it better for a boy. Also, for the girls name Emma, have you considered Emmalyn? that way it incorporates your middle name in it, plus it makes it more unique than just Emma.





Secondly, I think it is definately a good idea to give them middle names.They are not only traditional, but handy for if you want to honour someone in your family, and can also be used if the child grows up to dislike his/her first name. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to convince your fiance to go with it if you try, good luck!





So finally, Emma Raine/Emmalyn Marie and Adalynn Marie are lovely combinations, and Seth Rian and Dallas James are great for boys. I also love the name Lily as you have it for middle names, but I'm afraid it doesn't go with any of the first names I like.

Hairstyle for a man with extremely thick, curly hair?

My boyfriend has been struggling for years about what to do with his hair. It's extremely thick and curly, but so thick that the curls never show up, he just looks...fuzzy. His usual solution is to just buzz it all to 1/2 an inch, but then he looks about 14 (if he shaves off his beard too, instead of the 21 that he is.





Any one have any style suggestions? Mind you, it has to be fairly conservative because of his chosen field of study (Ministry), but I hate to see how upset he gets about not being able to do anything with it.Hairstyle for a man with extremely thick, curly hair?

it depends on the guy really. but if a guy seriously liked you, he wouldnt care. at all. i have really curcly hair and i used to be self conscious about it until i realized that mature guys dont care about whether hair is curly or straight. in general straight hair is good because it doesnt get messy as easily and its more tame but curly hair tends to look cooler and more free although it takes a lot of work to maintain. so they both have their pros and cons

Well ive been growing my hair out for about 7 months, im guessing its about 4.5 inches long since hair grows at max about .5 inches about, and it was 1 inch long when i got it cut back in december. Best men's haircut and hair product for curly hair [Pics Included]?

I've grown my hair out a bit and I love it; however, I plan on cutting/styling/trimming it and have no clue where to start. I've had short hair forever and I'm over it.. I'd like my hair to be managed but still be fairly long or medium length to emphasize the curls/waviness. What haircuts would be best for me (please post links to pics, and give suggestions that I could recommend to a stylist)

Also, what would be a good, daily hair product or conditioner? When I don't shampoo my hair for a couple days, the natural oil makes my curls much more alive and kills frizz. Is there any product that could emulate or enhance this? I use gel or mousse for occasions but I can't stand not being able to run my fingers through my hair. I've tried expensive conditioners from American Crew and organic jojoba-oil based ones, but they don't seem to do the same job my natural oils do. You have nice hair, but I know it's hard to tame curly/wavy hair so my suggestion is that you grow it longer and use a curl defining spray, when it is still wet, it will make your hair curly with no frizz. And after you let it dry naturally just spray a small amount of hair spray on your hair just to keep it in place.Try Pantene curl defining spray, its only around 3 or 4 dollars, and since your a guy I'm sure you don't enjoy spending hours on your hair, this should only take around 10 mins to do.

you mean a texturizer, as long as you keep your hair moisturized it will be okay. When you hair begins to grow out you will begin to see a difference in the texture, your natural kinky texture and the curly texturized texture. You will have to re-apply the texturizer every few months or so so the textures will match.Will the Curly perm for Black Men do a lot of damage to my hair?
No it won't...it's called a texturizer. Just leave it on for 5 minutes. If you leave it on longer, ';S'; Curl is the best one. Use a good conditioner

Shaved is not good idea for a triangular(pear shaped) face. The goal is to normalize the appearance of the lower face. The sides need some volume or with short styles, at least the upper sides need to be maximized to the width of the jaw, tapering in at the top of the ear.
